L.E.A.P. is a year-round program serving the educators and support staff of our 18 school districts, eligible students (PreK-12th grade), their families , and community partners in McDonough, Fulton, Hancock and Schuyler counties.

Our program features support with trauma-informed systems, support with truancy intervention, parent education, and holistic family support.

GOAL OF L.E.A.P.

Implementing SEL into our schools, so that students will learn, practice, and model essential personal life skills that will contribute to their academic, vocational, and personal success.

L.E.A.P will also include targeted family support for truancy, extensive training, and ongoing technical assistance opportunities and support in trauma-informed practices, student wellness support via socio-emotional wellness activities, and the development of Professional Learning Communities (PLC) composed of area SEL ambassadors.
