No Small Matter

Birth to Five Illinois-Region 26, Regional Office of Education #26, West Central Child Care Connection, and Western Illinois University’s Early Education are co-hosting a screening of No Small Matter, the first feature documentary to explore the most overlooked, underestimated, and powerful force for good in America today: early childhood education.

No Small Matter is designed to kick-start the public conversation about early care and education. No Small Matter is an entertaining, accessible, and inspiring film that redefines the audience's understanding of the issue and helps drive it to the top of our collective agenda. Participants will view the film and partake in a panel discussion about the film and the implications for Early Childhood Education and Care in Illinois

The film screening will begin at 6:oopm at WIU’s Horrabin Hall, Room 1, followed by a panel discussion at 7pm. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited to 70.
