Virtual 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge for McDonough, Henderson, Knox, Warren, Schuyler, Hancock, and Fulton County Residents

Virtual 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge for McDonough, Henderson, Knox, Warren, Schuyler, Hancock, and Fulton County Residents

MACOMB, IL—Join One Human Family-Macomb, our partners in the community, and other community members in changing habits to build and imagine a more racially just community with the 2022 21-Day Equity Challenge.

Those who sign up for the challenge, starting during Black History month on February 2, 2022, will receive an email every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Each email will contain a bit of information regarding a topic; thoughts about how the topic exists within McDonough, Henderson, Knox, Warren, Schuyler, Hancock, and Fulton counties; suggestions for readings, podcasts, videos, observations and ways to form and deepen community connections and understanding.  The Challenge will conclude during Women's History month on March 21, 2022.

Additionally, all participants will be invited to participate in a community JamBoard where they, along with other participants, can share reflections about what they are experiencing.  For those new to JamBoard, it is a virtual whiteboard where folks can share and read reflections.  The JamBoard is a way for participants to process what they are learning and build connections with others in the community.

The Challenge is free and open to everyone.  To participate you only need to have an email address.  You can register at: bit.ly/REChallenge2022

To be added to the Challenge after February 2, please email: [email protected] with your request.  Any other questions about the Racial Equity Challenge can also be written to: [email protected].
