SHARE YOUR SCHOOL’S SUCCESS STORY
The 2016 Raising Student Achievement Conference (RSAC) will be held December 5 & 6, at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, IL. The conference committee is looking for schools / districts that would like to share their success stories in achieving one or more of the following:
- Significant growth in student achievement.
- Significant progress in the implementation of the New Illinois Learning Standards.
- Significant progress in the implementation of Continuous School Improvement.
- Significant progress in the implementation of a teacher evaluation system.
- Significant progress in the implementation of student growth measurements through the development of quality local assessments.
Chosen schools / districts will be presenting a 60 minute breakout session at RSAC 2016. The presentation must address one or more of the above areas of success.
Chosen schools / districts will receive the following:
- One day complimentary registration for a maximum of two presenters on the day the team presents.
- One complimentary hotel room accommodation for one night at Pheasant Run Resort.
- Recognition at opening session of the conference on the day of presentation.
- Statewide and local area recognition.
Schools / districts will be selected by a committee of Regional Office of Education and Intermediate Service Center personnel based on the application. A minimum of six schools / districts will be selected.
To be considered as a Featured School / District, a school/ district must:
1. Be a public elementary, middle, or high school / district in the State of Illinois.
2. Complete and submit the application by September 20, 2016.
All school / district applicants will receive a list of the selected schools / districts by Sept. 30, 2016.
