INTENDED AUDIENCE: Open to all school staff and community members that work with adults that may experience a mental health and substance use challenge.
FEE: $50.00
PD HOURS: 6.5 PD Hours (CEUs for SWs LCPCs and RNs will be provided by the Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center)
Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.
*Please note, there is 2 hours of online pre-work required for this course before the in person training on May 1, 2025.
