Tri-State Severe Weather and Preparedness Conference - Education Focus on Friday
Educators and Administrators are invited to the 2018 Tri-State Severe Weather and Preparedness Conference on February 16th and 17th, held at the Kroc Center in Quincy, Illinois. We will be providing some curriculum for educators dealing with storms. The Emergency Manager for Illinois State University and surrounding K-12 schools, Eric Hodges, will be presenting on different aspects including reviewing individual emergency operations plans. At the end of the day, we will do a tabletop exercise to help you go through a scenario and determine the effectiveness of your EOP.
Your attendance is not limited to just Friday. On Saturday, several different speakers will be presenting on varying topics for a wide array of attendees.
Your attendance will help you gain great insight and valuable information throughout the day. If you have further questions or need more information, please visit this website:http://www.tristateweatherconf
