WIU Youth Summer Camp - Art for Gifted & Talented Students (Grades 6-8)
Western Illinois University’s summer art program is specifically designed to stimulate and challenge gifted and talented students, fourth-eighth grades, in an intensive week of art study. Under the guidance of WIU faculty, and local artists, students will have the opportunity to expand their skills and explore new ideas. During their stay at Western, students will also enjoy extracurricular activities, such as swimming, indoor/outdoor games and movies. Students will be supervised by faculty and carefully selected resident counselors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on campus. Western’s summer art program has a long record of success and introduces students to the university environment.
