Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education's Fall Conference

Dear Teachers, Educational Professionals, Administrators and Education Students,

You are cordially invited to attend the WIU chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education'sAnnual "Educational Essentials"  Fall Conference on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm in Horrabin Hall Room 1 on the WIU Macomb Campus.  

This Conference is free to students, and only $5 for education professionals.  3 1/2 CDPU's will be offered for attending.  A sandwich lunch is included, as are snacks and door prizes.  Registration by Sept. 18 is preferred but not required - please contact Dr. Abha Singh at 309-298-3013 or [email protected] or Marissa Werner at [email protected] for more information.  The registration form is linked here.

  • "Challenge Based Learning"  Shawna White, West Prairie Middle School, Colchester, IL
  • "Digital Inquiry:  Motivate/Build Content"  Dr. Frances Steward, Literacy Professor, Curriculum & Instruction Department, WIU
  • "Trends in Academic Literacy Instruction:  Deep Conceptual Understanding"  Dr. Lisa Ortmann, Literacy Assistant Professor, Curriculum & Instruction Department, WIU
