The Hancock County Health Department is excited to announce the launching of a COVID-19 vaccination call center and an on-line appointment scheduling option.
The call center opened on Friday, February 26, 2021. Its number is 217-604-3829 and is manned 7-days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The on-line appointment scheduling option can be found at www.covidvaccination.dph.illinois.gov . From week to week the on-line schedule will generally be available beginning at noon on the Sunday prior to the scheduled clinic. At this time clinics are being scheduled a week at a time, because the health department only receives its vaccine allocation notification on a weekly basis.
At this time, the Hancock County Health Department is continuing to vaccinate people who live in Hancock County, are 65 years and older, are frontline workers with higher risk of exposure due to their profession, and those who have health conditions, such as; Diabetes, Pulmonary Diseases, Obesity, Heart Conditions, Chronic Kidney Disease, Cancer, Solid Organ Transplant, Sickle Cell Disease, Pregnancy and Smoking.
People who are eligible to get the Covid-19 Vaccine can schedule their appointment on-line or if they need assistance scheduling an appointment they may contact the call center.
