About ROE26
Digital Threat Assessment
Digital Threat Assessment was developed through the need to keep pace with the ever-evolving technology challenges that face our students currently. The goal is to give attendees a stronger understanding of the current social media world, tools to be able to proactively identify student safety concerns, along with strategies for dealing with online situations as they arise. Participants in this training will develop an understanding of current social media platforms, along with their use, misuse, and associated risks; identify, respond to, and prevent cyberbullying and online hate; utilize social media and online verification tools for school safety; application of digital threat assessment theoretical foundations; and best practice and policy implications in the new digital world. Participants must bring a laptop with unrestricted WiFi access to get the most out of the hands-on training.
