Join us for the inaugural Social Studies Symposium, a new professional development opportunity designed specifically for high school teachers of Sociology, Civics/Political Science, and Geography.
Participants will:
Engage in expert-led sessions with faculty from Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, and Geography.
Access discipline-specific resources and instructional materials aligned with state learning standards for Illinois.
Explore innovative teaching strategies that emphasize hands-on learning, critical thinking, and real-world applications.
Network and collaborate with fellow educators and university faculty to exchange ideas and best practices.
