  • Building strong, positive relationships with all students is key to creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. In this training, participants will explore the power of restorative language and intentional strategies within the classroom that will foster meaningful connections and effectively manage classroom behavior. Educators will learn strategies to respond to student misbehavior with empathy and consistency, rather than reacting impulsively.

Through engaging discussions and practical applications, participants will:
  • Discover how consistent, positive relationships impact student success.
  • Learn the power of regulation, relation, reason and restoration between students and adults.
  • Learn to implement restorative language to encourage accountability and growth.
  • Explore behavior strategies within the classroom that support students struggling with engagement and conduct.
  • Gain insight into the Social Discipline Window and how it informs behavior support.
  • Understand the Compass of Shame and how students' responses to conflict influence classroom dynamics.
  • Learn and participate in an unconference to share expertise.
By the end of this training, educators will walk away with actionable strategies to create a restorative, relationship-centered classroom that nurtures student growth and accountability.
