Planning for Continuous School Improvement with EBM and ESSA - Galesburg
The focus of this Academy is to help school and district leaders understand the necessary components of an effective school improvement plan and how to include the Evidence-Based Funding Model and the ESSA Plan when writing the plan. Participants will dive into the 26 Elements of the Evidence-Based Funding Model; determine subgroups to track for accountability under ESSA; identify and assign possible roles to a potential school improvement team; develop an effective communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed of the school improvement plan; and identify the components of an effective school improvement plan. Participants will leave the Academy with several guiding documents that will assist them and their school improvement team in writing an effective school improvement plan. School Report Card Data, Student Performance Data, and a list of employees and positions should be brought to the Academy to assist in the activities. Workshop Pending Administrator Academy Approval
