Have you ever found yourself perplexed by the behavior of a child in your classroom? In this training, you will gain an understanding of trauma and the impact that it has on your students’ behaviors.
- Learn de-escalation techniques that work with children who have experienced trauma
- Learn steps you can use with children to help them regulate their emotions through co-regulation techniques until they are ready to self-regulate
- Learn classroom management techniques and strategies that help children build better coping skills
- Learn about problem-based learning and work with others on case studies to learn the best way to identify a student’s classroom/personal issues and calculate the best path forward.
