Substitute & Paraprofessional Training
This training is for substitute teachers and paraprofessionals and meets the requirements of Public Act 100-596, which requires training for short-term substitute teachers. Participants will leave with an evidence of completion certificate as documentation to indicate they completed the training. Topics covered will include: Professionalism Legal and ethical issues Special education Setting expectations Trauma informed schools Restorative practices Behavior strategies Meaningful instruction Lesson plans Student engagement.
