Kate has been asked to be a keynote speaker at the Hancock County High School Resource Fair, an annual event for all high school students in Hancock County to learn about the resources in their area. She was asked to provide an assembly presentation on how to use anxiety to motivate instead of getting stuck.
The talk will include the following:
Where anxiety comes from and how important it has been for our survival through the ages.
What happens to our bodies when we experience anxiety.
How to experience the feelings of anxiety and transform them into motivation through mindfulness practices.
