We will gain a greater understanding of our stress response during a crisis and how ongoing stress hinders one’s ability to process information and how it affects our communication.
We will explore ways to build resilience through utilizing trauma-informed educational practice in and out of the classroom including self-care, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning strategies which provide a safe and secure environment that will enhance academic learning.
