McDonough and Schuyler County COVID-19 Vaccine Update

The McDonough and Schuyler County Health Department (MCHD) (SCHD) would like to provide an update regarding the expansion of vaccine eligibility.

Beginning today, March 22 Phase 1b expanded their list of Essential Workers.
More residents are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, which now includes higher education, religious leaders, food and beverage workers, construction, media and government workers.

Phase 1b also includes: First responders, Education, Food and Agriculture, Manufacturing, Correction Workers, U.S Postal Service Workers, Public Transit Workers, Grocery Store Workers, Shelters and Day Care staff. As the number of vaccine increase, we have opened available appointments to accommodate the new eligible residents.

We will still be able to vaccinate those in Phase 1A, 1B and 1B+ in accordance to the IDPH COVID Vaccine Plan.
