Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Call Center in McDonough County

Macomb, Ill. – Monday February 1st our local call center is available and open starting at 10am today for McDonough and Schuyler County. The call center will provide Q & A services regarding the vaccine, and will assist in booking appointments (residents 65 and older, and Essential frontline workers in Phase 1b).

During the creation of the call center, we have partnered with The McDonough Telephone Cooperative (MTC) in helping configure phones, connection and routing numbers, ensured to help with landline operations.

The Regional Office of Education (ROE) and West Central Illinois Special Education Cooperative (WCISEC) has allowed operational space intended to staff phone operators during the expansion of the call center.

On behalf of Regional Office of Education #26 and the West Central Illinois Special Education Co-Op, we’re happy to provide our conference room for this life-saving effort,” says John Meixner, Regional Superintendent of Schools. “As these challenging times continue, we’re proud to step up in our community and help others."

Residents can call this center for vaccine related questions, and schedule an appointment with one of our phone operators. Remember to check out our COVID-19 vaccine website www.getyourcovidshot.com for more vaccine related information.

The toll-free number for the COVID vaccine Call Center is 833-665-4VAX(829)
