NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 8, 2020, a petition containing two signatures was properly filed with the ex-officio Secretary of the Regional Board of School Trustees of Fulton-Hancock-McDonough-Schuyler Counties, Illinois, requesting that the following described territory, to wit:

TRACT 1

The East Half (E') of the Southwest Quarter (SWk) of Section Thirty-three (33); The Southwest Quarter (SW*) of the Northeast Quarter (NEk) of Section Thirty-three (33); and also, The West Half Nil of the Southeast Quarter (SEk) of Section Thirty-three (33), EXCEPT a tract of land more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Southeast Corner of the West Half (Wk) of the Southeast Quarter (SEt) of said Section Thirty-three (33), thence running West along the South line of said Quarter Section 775 feet, thence running North parallel with the East line of said Quarter Section 420 feet, thence running East parallel with the South line of said Quarter Section to a point where said line intersects the West line of the East Half (El) of the Southeast Quarter (SE*), and thence running South parallel with the West line of said Quarter Section to the point of beginning; all of which is situated in Township Three (3) North of the Base Line, Range Eight (8) West of the Fourth Principal Meridian, situated in the County of Hancock in the State of Illinois.

Commencing at a #5 rebar set at the Southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 88 degrees 15 minutes 23 seconds East along the South line of said Southeast Quarter a distance of 1339.08 feet to the Southeast corner of the West half of the of said Southeast Quarter; thence leaving said South line North 00 degrees 58 minutes 29 seconds East along the East line of said West half a distance of 719.39 feet to a #5 rebar set and the True Point of Beginning; thence leaving said East line North 86 degrees 53 minutes 16 seconds West a distance of 573.76 feet to a #5 rebar set; thence North 01 degrees 59 minutes 44 seconds East a distance of 426.12 feet to a #5 rebar set; thence North 57 degrees 14 minutes 15 seconds East a distance of 680.35 feet to a #5 rebar set on the East line of said West half; thence South 00 degrees 58 minutes 29 seconds West along said East line a distance of 825.31 feet to the True Point of Beginning, containing 8.17 acres more or less and being subject to any easements and rights-of-way now of record or not of record. Also being subject to all that portion now being used for county road purposes.

TOGETHER WITH A 20 foot wide Ingress-Egress & Utility Easement over real estate located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 3 North, Range 8 West of the Fourth Principal Meridian, Hancock County, Illinois more particularly described as follows:

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that action by the Regional Board of School Trustees of Fulton-Hancock-McDonough-Schuyler Counties will be on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, beginning at the hour of 7:00 P.M. in the first floor conference room of the Regional Office of Education #26, Macomb, Illinois at which time any interested person will be heard.
