Reviewers Needed for ISBE Licensure Tests

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) in partnership with the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson is holding Item Review Conferences for the Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS) Program. The conferences will take place in the Springfield, Illinois area.

 

At these conferences, we are seeking Illinois educators with expertise in the following subject areas to meet to review the draft test items for accuracy and relevance in order to ensure that content is reflective of the Illinois population.

 

On December 5 and December 6, 2018 we are convening the School Social Worker Content Advisory Committee.

 

In February 2019 we will be convening the following Content Advisory Committees:

 

Foreign Language: Arabic

Foreign Language: Korean

Chemistry

Earth & Space Science

 

Substitute reimbursement is available to school districts. In addition, committee member’s travel and meal expenses are reimbursed, and hotel accommodations provided, if necessary. Additional details regarding benefits of participation are provided on the Illinois Recruitment website.
