  • Essential Facilitation™ provides a framework of proven techniques for building understanding, human connection, and lasting agreements in meetings—skills as valuable in everyday life as they are in business. Our methods have been used by hundreds of organizations to generate faster decisions, increase creativity and productivity, shorten cycle times, and build support for implementation across stakeholder populations.

Participants leave with the confidence and the ability to facilitate effective meetings. This training provides individuals an opportunity to not only learn from expert facilitators, but other attendees in the workshop. A new meeting culture will emerge when graduates of Essential Facilitation lead by example, which will be felt beyond the individuals. Less time will be wasted in ineffective meetings. More opportunities for genuine, creative collaboration will create a more productive and enjoyable work environment.

  • Learning Objectives:

  • - Design agendas and group processes that lead to better participation and better results.

  • - Engage everyone in discussions.

  • - Keep meetings focused and on track.

  • Help people share their ideas whatever their first language or communication style.

  • Use a variety of strategies, tools, and techniques to build understanding and agreements.

  • Guide a group through a collaborative problem-solving process.

  • Leverage diverse experiences and points-of-view to generate creative solutions.

  •  Model facilitative behaviors that others begin to emulate.
