Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of new teacher induction/mentoring programs. Discussions will include the characteristics, phases, and learning stages for new teachers. Those attending will also learn about mentoring roles and expectations for effective mentors that will maximize new teacher development. School districts considering starting a mentoring program and/or providing new teacher support are encouraged to attend.

This event will be face to face if permitted. If not allowed it will be held online from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on July 7, 8, and 9.
