June 12

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Cedar Creek Hall, 571 E North Street, Galesburg IL

This training allows the development of a deeper understanding of how trauma impacts students and how school staff can work to build resiliency through implementing 12 concepts in the classroom environment. Participants will gain an understanding of how variables can add additional challenges to overcoming trauma and impact the educational environment such as cultural issues, societal expectations, developmental considerations, family systems and the presence of felt safety. This experience is interactive and will allow opportunities to practice using the core concepts in the school environment.
